Branding

01
Friday Health Plans
Friday is a fast-growing health insurance company that was growing at a rapid rate and because of that success its branding suffered a bit, when I came on board no one was at the helm to steer that ship. Their branding needs are
multi-channel and multi-platform ranging from year-round internal company business support supplying templates and training materials; client and member communications via emails, newsletters, and SMS messaging; to a multistate $3M annual advertising campaign. That campaign covers a 10-week period when the company makes 98% of its sales.
On the digital side that translated to paid search, banner ads, and scoreboard ads, on the OOH front that looked like billboards, transit, bar coasters, and food truck sponsorships. It meant radio ads and CLV and OLV buys. In-person that meant promotional events and training events distributing our annual brochure. And of course, prize wheels. Prize wheels with blinky lights are a must-have at event booths.
It's a whirlwind, a flurry of events that I spend all year gearing up for, which in the end, pays off. Since I've been here we have met or exceeded all sales goals and expectations in each state we operate in.

02
Zicasso
Zicasso is a web-based luxury travel website, with no brick and mortar location their digital presence was understandably the priority for all it's branding exercises, from the shift of web platforms to social accounts to PPC ads. In 2020, I added to the mix a bit as we were getting feedback from our high-end clients that they wanted something tangible to share with their friends when talking about our services. We thought this was a great opportunity to make a piece that felt as luxurious as the trips we sold. I set out and created the company's first travel book AND its first piece of printed material. EVER.

Andrea Burolla Photography
This small business was in need of a branding redesign as they were pivoting from being a one-stop-shop photo biz to something completely niche, contemporary and high-end. They needed a full rebrand including a web redesign and promotional materials to match. Creating an informational video was also part of the plan to help explain this business's unique vision and product offering. All the materials selected for the printed pieces had some type of texture associated with them not only to amplify the high-end look they wanted but the materials also paired well with the sensory client experience that this business offered.

04
Content Direction Agency
This small marketing agency came to me in need of some fresh ideas for their web redesign and content for their social media accounts. Together we determined their most immediate need was to supply some fresh images done in a film noir style to mimic an old-timey detective agency feel. We carried over that same theme throughout the web redesign process which highlighted the need for a fair amount of detail images that fit the same look and feel as the portraits. I scouted out and rented a historical mansion that we could rent for the shoot to give us the same 1950s feel that we were carrying through the website.

W. 38th Ave Liquors
I was hired by this small mom-and-pop liquor store just to give them a little oomph. Their social media presence was nonexistent, although being in business for over 30 years there were still people who hadn't heard of them in the neighborhood. They didn't want to make a scene and had little to no budget but knew that they needed some sort of presence just to show that they are with the times.
This was a branding exercise that really just focused on low-budget social media. I came up with the idea to show off their vast array of microbrew inventory and created a whole bunch of content playing off all the great can designs and interesting flavor profiles that these microbrews were sending out. We got some great local customer reactions and even some reposts from the microbrews themselves. Overall they got the street cred in their 'hood that they finally deserved.

05
Rock Creek Flyers
I do a lot of volunteer work but nothing is more satisfying than walking into a swim meet and seeing 250+ people wearing the t-shirts and swim caps you created. I was happy to do some branding development for this local swim team starting with an official logo, fonts, and team colors. It was also important to me to use a local designer and screen printer to keep the hometown vibe. Now that some branding guidelines have been established we are able to explore new merch ideas each year, making this team look sharp wherever they swim- Go Flyers!
